Madhya Pradesh to invest Rs 25,000 crore in PPP

Madhya Pradesh government has decided to invest Rs 25,000 crore in Public Private Partnership (PPP) in next three years for fast-pace development, a minister said today.

INDORE: Madhya Pradesh government has decided to invest Rs 25,000 crore in Public Private Partnership (PPP) in next three years for fast-pace development, a minister said today.

"Rapid development is possible with the help of government and private partnership. We are going to invest Rs 25,000 crore in different project under PPP in next three years," Madhya Pradesh Finance Minister Raghavji said at a function in Indian Institute of Management (IIM) here.

He said the PPP has come up as an alternative to push development in those states which have limited finances.

Raghavji said the PPP has paid off in the road construction work in Madhya Pradesh.

"This development model can fit in education, health, energy and other sectors also," he said.
