Instant Money Order Service launched in JK

JAMMU: The India Post today introduced the Instant Money Order (IMO) service for transfer of money within the country.

"India Post has added a new feather in its cap by introducing IMO for instant, convenient and reliable transfer of money within the country," Chief Postmaster General, Jammu and Kashmir, John Samuel, told reporters here. Launching the service here, he said the money would now be transferred and paid within minutes.

Samuel said the IMO is an instant web-based money transfer service through post offices within India.
