Ahead of the G-20 summit, industry body CII's young entrepreneur wing today said that the Indian entrepreneurial model is key to inclusive wealth creation, which is necessary to address income inequalities in the world.
"Our discussions at the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit have paved the way for the creation of a collaborative platform of young organisations from these nations," said Bhairavi Jani, Indian delegation President and CII's Young Indians National Chairman.
The G-20 nations would drive the focus on entrepreneurship in their nations to create an inclusive approach to wealth creation, she added.
During multilateral discussions at the G20 Young Entrepreneur Summit in Toronto, Canada, representatives of member nations discussed the key challenges faced by entrepreneurs in their respective countries, a statement said.
The nations also agreed on an appropriate coordinated response to issues such as affordable institutional access to finance, and creation of a supportive tax and regulatory ecosystem, it said.
"This final communique will be used to call up on leaders of governments participating in the G20 Business Leaders' Summit at Toronto to recognise the imperatives," it said.
