Hitachi officials meet Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao
HYDERABAD: A team of officials from multinational company Hitachi today met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and expressed its willingness to partner with the state government in the areas of smart city solutions.

Through the smart city solutions initiative, the Chief Minister and general public can interact with each other and work in the areas of smart card solutions, health care and education, an official release said here.

The team met Rao here and he told them that any investor would be happy to start an industry in and around Hyderabad, it added.

The CM mentioned that his government unveiled its new industrial policy framework by bringing in a legislation.

The policy would be formally launched soon. The CEO and MD of Hitachi told Rao that they already have their presence in Telangana since 2013 and would like to start their next operations in Hyderabad from August 2015.

Rao evinced keen interest in their products and services like multiple smart card system and suggested them to explore the possibilities of introducing the card in the state.
