Farmers to get loans worth Rs 4,765 crore, says Andhra Pradesh minister
Andhra Pradesh State Animal Husbandry minister P Viswaroop said today that Rs 4,765 crore loans would be provided to farmers.

The state government would provide Rs 2859 core to farmers during kharif and Rs 1907 crore during rabi seasons, which would amount to Rs 4,765 crore worth loans to farmers in the district, he said.
He said Rs 2,120 crore worth loans have already been disbursed to farmers. He explained that welfare and development schemes launched in the district for the benefit of people include loans worth Rs 4.69 crore disbursed to farmers out of Rs 6 crore allocated by the state government.
Input subsidy has provided to 3,11,856 farmers out of 3,74,742 farmers who lost their crops due to cyclone in the district and the subsidy amount was directly deposited to their accounts, he said.
