Risk capital investment activity continued at a moderate pace with no major deals (with value above $100 million) during the month.

Expansion and growth capital activity remained muted. Exit activity largely revolved around open market exits with PE funds selling stakes in listed investments in multiple small tranches.

However, the month did see a successful exit.


FUNDRAISING: This is the biggest successful fund raise by a domestic fund manager since 2010. The targeted fund size is $1 billion 5 new India focused fund raising plans were announced aggregating to $397 million.

Of this, nearly $300 million is by Indian Property Advisors – the fund started by Ramesh Jogani (Ex- MD of Indiareit Fund Advisors)
