ADB provides $700 million to Pak

Asian Development Bank (ADB) would provide Pakistan finances of about USD 700 million for projects of energy, transport and micro-credit sectors.

ISLAMABAD: Asian Development Bank (ADB) would provide Pakistan finances of about USD 700 million for projects of energy, transport and micro-credit sectors.
Visiting ADB Director General of Central and West Asia Department Juan Miranda told Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs Dr Salman Shah that USD 400 million would be available for energy and transport and USD 300 million for micro-credit.
Adviser appreciated ADB assistance for development of Pakistan's economy. He hoped National Highways Authority would be able to finance its projects.
