91-day treasury bill yield at 7.6435%

The Reserve Bank of India said on Wednesday it fixed the cut-off price at its weekly auction of 91-day treasury bills at Rs 98.13 rupees.

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India said on Wednesday it fixed the cut-off price at its weekly auction of 91-day treasury bills at 98.13 rupees, lower than 98.14 rupees in the previous auction. The yield at this cut-off price was 7.6435 percent. Bids worth 20 billion rupees were accepted in the auction, out of which 15 billion rupees were under the market stabilisation scheme (MSS).

The central bank said the cut-off price at the auction of 182-day treasury bills was 96.28 rupees, compared with a cut-off price of 96.29 rupees at the auction two weeks ago.

The yield at the cut-off price was 7.7487 percent. The central bank accepted bids totaling 15 billion rupees at the 182-day bills auction, out of which 10 billion rupees were under the MSS.
