Tata Agrico ties up with Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar

Tata Agrico, the agri-implements division of Tata Steel Ltd, has entered into a business venture with Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar in North India to sell the steel majors product into the rural interiors of the country.


MUMBAI: Tata Agrico, the agri-implements division of Tata Steel Ltd, has entered into a business venture with Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar in North India to sell the steel majors product into the rural interiors of the country.

As per the understanding, Tata Agrico's products will be available in all the Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar outlets across North India, a company release said here on Wednesday.

Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar (HKB) is the rural retail initiative by DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd, aimed at empowering the farmer by addressing all his occupational requirements such as availability of quality agri-inputs, contract farming, and credit to farmers, it said.

The main objective of this business venture of Tata Agrico is to reach out to the farmer community with its wide variety of products in the rural interiors of the country.
