Paddy arrivals up by 35% in Haryana
Paddy arrivals have risen by 35 per cent in Haryana so far in ongoing kharif marketing season with crop purchase reaching 14.09 lakh tonnes (LT).

In corresponding period of last season, 10.30 LT of paddy was bought in the state.
Out of the total arrival of paddy, 69,995 tonnes of paddy has been purchased by the millers, a Food and Supplies Department spokesman said.
Among the gGovernment agencies, Food and Supplies Department purchased 6,30,868 tonnes of paddy, HAFED 3,46,653 tonnes, Agro Industries Corporation 2,07,879 tonnes, Haryana Warehousing Corporation 1,06,687 tonnes and CONFED purchased 47,236 tonnes of paddy, he added.
District Karnal is leading in the paddy arrival where 4,16,488 tonnes of paddy has arrived in the mandis.
