Over 35 lakh tonnes wheat arrives in Haryana mandis
Haryana Agro Industries Corporation bought 3.95 lakh tonnes, while Haryana Warehousing Corporation purchased 5.84 lakh tonnes.

So far, 35,37,571 tonnes of wheat has arrived in mandis, of which 35,37,471 tonnes has been purchased by the government agencies, said official spokesperson of Haryana Food and Supplies department.
He added that over 14.99 lakh tonnes of wheat has been purchased by Hafed, while Food and Supplies Department purchased 10.52 lakh tonnes.
Haryana Agro Industries Corporation bought 3.95 lakh tonnes, while Haryana Warehousing Corporation purchased 5.84 lakh tonnes and Confed bought 5,800 tonnes.
About 100 tonnes was purchased by private traders. The spokesperson said so far, district Karnal was leading, where over 4.35 lakh tonnes of wheat had arrived in the mandis, followed by Sirsa at 4.31 lakh tonnes.
