Over 32 lakh tonne wheat procured in Haryana
More than 32.09 lakh tonnes of wheat has so far arrived in grain markets of Haryana during the current procurement season.

Out of it, over 32.08 lakh tonnes (LT) of wheat has been procured by government agencies at the minimum support price and the remaining about 903 tonnes has also been purchased by private millers and traders, a spokesman of the Food and Supplies Department has said.
He said HAFED had procured over 11.73 LT of wheat, Food and Supplies Department (over 7.79 lakh tonnes), Food Corporation of India (over 4.91 LT), Haryana Warehousing Corporation (over 3.12 LT), Haryana Agro Industries Corporation (over 2.97 LT) and CONFED had purchased 1.53 LT of the crop.
Haryana is looking to procure 86 lakh tonnes this season, the spokesman added.
