India's soyameal export increases by 9.68% during first quarter of 2012-13

AHMEDABAD: Exports of soyabean meal during June, 2012 shows a jump of 53.90% over the last year at 1.81 lakh tonne according to the Soybean Processors Association of India.

On a financial year basis, the export during first quarter of current financial year i.e. April 2012 to June 2012 is 6.,56 lakh tonne compared to 5.98 lakh tonne in the same period of previous year showing an increase of 9.68%.

However, during current oil year, (October - September), exports during October 2011 to June 2012 is 34.42 lakh tonne as against 35.96 lakh tonne the previous year , a fall of 4.28%.
