ICAC Plenary at Brazil in Sept

The 65th Plenary meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) would be held at Brazil from September 11.

COIMBATORE: The 65th Plenary meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) would be held at Brazil from September 11.

The theme of the five-day meeting would be 'Social and Environmental impacts of cotton production and use,' the South India Cotton Association (SICA) sources said.

The Government of India would be sending a delegation for the meeting, in which representative of SICA would be a member, they said.

Similarly, a one-day meeting of All India Cotton Trade Associations, organised by East India Cotton Association, would held on August five in Mumbai, the sources said.

The meeting would discuss a theme 'strengthening the cotton economy through sustained exports', they said.
