Haryana provides support in horticulture to Telangana and Mizoram
CHANDIGARH: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved the proposal for providing technical assistance to Telangana and Mizoram for setting up centres in horticulture.

The Telangana and Mizoram governments had requested Haryana for technical co-operation in their respective states on the pattern of the centre in Haryana, an official release said here today.

While Telangana sought technical support, Mizoram has set up a Technical Screening Committee with the Haryana Horticulture director as its member.

A Centre of Excellence in Horticulture for flowers, vegetable and fruit production is to be set up at Jeedimetla in Telangana's Ranga Reddy district, the release said.

The experts from Haryana will visit these upcoming centres from time to time to monitor the development of these projects.
