Uttarakhand Police, National Security Guard commandos conduct mock drill

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Police personnel and National Security Guard (NSG) commandos today conducted a mock drill at Inter-State Bus Terminal here to check preparedness of security agencies in the event of a terror attack.

The aim of the drill was to see how security agencies coordinate among themselves and respond to a bomb blast in a crowded place, Dehradun SP Ajay Singh said.

"The drill went on for about half-an-hour at ISBT in which police personnel and NSG commandos participated," Singh said, adding "the drill went on smoothly without affecting the movement of buses".
