Two Army jawans injured in gunfight with infiltrating militants in Tangdhar sector of Kashmir

SRINAGAR: At least two soldiers were injured in a gunfight with infiltrating militants near the Line of Control in Tangdhar sector of Kashmir, Army officials said.

"Two jawans have sustained minor injuries in the ongoing operation in Karnah so far.The exchange of fire with the terrorists was going on till reports last came in," the officials said.

Army had last evening launched a counter-infiltration operation near the LoC after noticing suspicious movement.

"There was a brief exchange of fire last night which resumed this morning," the officials said
