US President Donald Trump on Monday said Iran would never possess a nuclear weapon under the emerging agreement between Washington and Tehran, while insisting that the deal was fair and entering a new phase.

The US president also signalled progress in negotiations, saying, “Iran deal goes to a second stage,” and adding, “We think it’s a fair deal.”
