Terrorists attack police convoy in Jammu & Kashmir
In a fresh violence reported from Jammu & Kashmir, terrorists attacked a bus of security personnel in Srinagar's Pantha Chowk injuring five policemen.

The attack comes amidst reports from the intelligence agencies that more than 250 terrorists have crossed the border and were planning to attack security establishments ahead of Eid.

The attack took place around 8 pm when the bus was going from Bemina to Zewan. The injured policemen have been rushed to the Army's 92 Base Hospital, a police spokesperson said.


The whole idea behind these sporadic strikes are to make their presence felt as Kashmir continues to be vulnerable. A condition of heightened security has been announced and a massive manhunt has begun.

According to the sources, the attack seems to be a well-planned ambush on the security forces
