Video proof of 2016 surgical strike surfaces
NEW DELHI: Video evidence of 'surgical strikes' conducted against enemy camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was shown by news channels yesterday evening. The video was captured by overhead drones and thermal imaging cameras.

According to several news reports, the video was broadcast in real-time to Udhampur Headquarters, where 'need to know' senior officers were present. Former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were also present.

The Indian Army announced that it had inflicted ''significant casualties'' on terrorists spread along the Line of Control on September 28 2016. Seven terror pads were targeted by the Indian Army using elite Special Forces.
