Seven ultras killed in separate encounters
SRINAGAR: The Army on Thursday foiled three infiltration bids along the Line of Control in north Kashmir killing four militants, while three others were killed in a separate encounter in Langate area.

Even as cross-LoC firing continued in several areas, Army managed to avert a major militant strike on 30 RR camp at Langate, where three militants were killed after a gunfight. “Militants fired at the RR camp at around 5:10 am, which continued for 20 minutes and then resumed again at 6:00 am. However, the three militants were killed at around 7:00 am,” an Army official told ET.
