Security forces recover 70 ammunitions, 16 explosives in multiple operations in Manipur

Security forces have recovered 70 ammunition and 16 explosives in multiple operations in Manipur.

The police stated that search operations were conducted by security forces in the fringe and vulnerable areas of Imphal-East, Imphal-West, Kakching, Thoubal, Kangpokpi and Bishnupur districts and recovered 16 (sixteen) arms, 70 (seventy) ammunitions and 16 (sixteen) explosives from Imphal-East, Imphal-West and Kangpokpi districts.

The police added a total of 127 Nakas/ Checkpoints were installed in different Districts of Manipur, both in the hill and the valley and Police detained 2257 persons in connection with violations in different districts of the State.
