JAIPUR: Security has been stepped up across Rajasthan following a terror attack in Gurdaspur district of Punjab today.

"All the range IGs and SPs, and ATS have been alerted and given necessary directions to strengthen security after the attack in Punjab," DGP, Manoj Bhatt said, adding, important public places are under strict vigil.

Checking of public places is being conducted as a precautionary measure, he said.

Four heavily armed terrorists wearing army uniform today went on a rampage attacking a bus and a police station complex, leaving five persons, including a policeman, dead and several injured in Gurdaspur district bordering Pakistan.
