The partnership, announced as part of the France-India Year of Innovation, combines the artificial intelligence capabilities of Safran. AI, a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense, with SatSure’s expertise in satellite data and geospatial analytics.
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop end-to-end GEOINT solutions that integrate satellite imagery, advanced AI models and operational intelligence delivery. The solutions are aimed at enhancing situational awareness, speeding up intelligence processing and supporting decision-making across defence, environmental monitoring and other critical sectors.
SatSure said its subsidiary KaleidEO provides a vertically integrated approach spanning Earth observation satellite payloads to actionable intelligence, complementing Safran. AI’s focus on mission-critical AI applications.
“The future of GEOINT depends on the close integration of geospatial data and artificial intelligence,” said Sébastien Fabre, CEO of Safran. AI. He added that the partnership would help develop advanced solutions supporting sovereignty, security and operational excellence.
Prateep Basu, founder and CEO of SatSure, said the collaboration combines global AI capabilities with India’s growing ambitions in Earth observation and geospatial intelligence.
The companies did not disclose financial details of the partnership.
