Air Marshal S R K Nair took over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters Training Command, IAF.

BENGALURU: Air Marshal S R K Nair took over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Headquarters Training Command, IAF, here today.

Nair was commissioned in the transport stream of the Indian Air Force in June 1980, a defence release said.

A qualified Flying Instructor and an Air Force Examiner, the Air Marshal has a rich and varied flying experience of over 7000 hrs in various transport and trainer aircraft, it added.

Nair was Senior Air Staff Officer of Headquarters Training Command prior to the coveted appointment as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief.
