RAW planning to kill Nawaz Sharif, Hafiz Saeed: Pakistani government
Pakistan's intelligence agencies have warned that Indian spy agency RAW has tasked its agents to kill Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif and JuD chief Hafiz Saeed.

The reports, the home department of Pakistan's Punjab province said, were received on Thursday and it subsequently issued a highalert to security institutions over an assassination threat to Sharif and Saeed. “It has been reliably learnt that RAW has planned to undertake high-value assassinations in Pakistan to create a wide-scale chaos,“ read a letter issued by the department.
RAW had already tasked agents to assassinate the PM and Saeed, it said. "RAW officials are planning to portray the actions as retaliatory strikes by extremist groups like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan to avenge recent terrorist actions," the circular added.
The document also said: "Indian spy agency has also tasked its sources to gather all possible addresses of Hafiz Saeed in Punjab. The above-mentioned top-level actions have been planned to create anarchy in the country as a result of major acts of violence like assassination of the PM of Pakistan."
Consequently , the letter said, Sharif and Saeed had been conveyed the warning.
"The concerned officials had been directed to adopt precautions, besides exercising extra vigilance," it said.
