J&K Terror Attack (Representational)
An army vehicle came under fire from suspected terrorists in a forward village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Wednesday, according to PTI.

The incident occurred near Phal village in the Sunderbani sector, though no casualties have been reported so far.

The terrorists, believed to be hiding in a nearby forest, fired several rounds at the army vehicle as it passed through the area, which is known as a traditional infiltration route for militants. In response, the troops returned fire, and reinforcements were immediately deployed to neutralise the threat.

The Indian Army has since launched a cordon and search operation in the region to locate the suspected terrorists. The situation is still developing, and further details are awaited.
