Rajnath Singh inaugurated NIBE Group’s Rs 1,000 crore Defence Manufacturing Complex near Shirdi in Maharashtra. Spread across 200 acres, the facility is capable of manufacturing up to 5 lakh 155mm artillery shells annually and is among India’s largest private-sector defence manufacturing projects. The complex will also produce drones, rocket launchers and other indigenous defence systems.
