Quick response team in Rajasthan to get training on advanced weapons
JAIPUR: Police personnel of the quick response team in Rajasthan would be provided with training on the advanced weapons in the next one year, Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria today told the Legislative Assembly.

In a reply during the Question Hour, he said the state police has enough arms as per the requirement and has placed orders for 500 bullet proof jackets.

He said despite availability of arms, there is a lack of practice of (advanced) weapons and this will be addressed through proper training.

The minister informed the House about the number and types of weapons possessed by the state police.
