BSF recovers 6 Pakistani drones, 2.34 kg heroin from Amritsar border
The Border Security Police (BSF) personnel intercepted six drones, originating from Pakistan near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab's Amritsar district, recovering over one kg of heroin and three pistols, said a BSF official on Thursday.

On Wednesday night, BSF personnel deployed technical countermeasures to neutralise five drones near the village of Modhe in Amritsar, according to officials.

Moreover, four packets containing three pistols, three magazines, and a packet of heroin weighing 1.070 kg were also recovered, officials added.


In a separate incident early Thursday, the BSF troops intercepted another drone near Attari village and recovered two magazines.

Additionally, in a separate incident near Dal village in the Tarn Taran district, BSF troops recovered parts of a pistol and a magazine from a paddy field.
