Police recovers 400 rounds of ammunition in Jammu

"A team of our Criminal Investigation department first recovered 300 rounds of ammunition of assorted weapons lying near some bushes last evening," a police officer said.

JAMMU: Police has recovered around 400 rounds of assorted weapons lying amidst bushes in Narwal area of the city.

"A team of our Criminal Investigation department (CID) first recovered 300 rounds of ammunition of assorted weapons lying near some bushes last evening," a police officer said.

She said that after further search of the area around 100 more rounds were recovered from there.

"Few days ago around 1,000 to 1,200 rounds of ammunition were stolen from an ammunition shop, this seems to be part of that consignment," he said.
