Pinaka roars in Pokhran: India successfully tests extended-range rockets
Solar Group today successfully carried out the maiden proof trial of two production lots of Pinaka Extended Range Rockets for the first time in the country. The maiden proof trial was conducted at Pokhran Field Firing Range. A total of 24 Pinaka Enhanced rockets were flight tested for their accuracy, consistency and lethality and the rocket performed exceptionally good in field conditions, says the Solar Group.
