BARMER: Pakistan has removed spy cameras installed at several places along the international border with Rajasthan about a fortnight ago, following objections by Border Security Force (BSF).

There were around ten cameras installed at the height of 15-20 feet, near the border with Barmer, have been removed by the neighbouring country yesterday, BSF DIG (Barmer) P Gautam said here today.

The spy cameras -- facing Barmer, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Ganganagar -- were installed by Pakistan at several places along the international border with Rajasthan.

BSF had raised objection after which Pakistan had stopped the practice and some cameras which were facing Barmer side were removed.

Earlier, Pakistan removed cameras from near Jaisalmer.
