Pak violates ceasefire, two soldiers, civilian killed in Kupwara

Earlier on October 13 too, an Army jawan was killed in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the LoC in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district.

J&K: Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Kupwara; two soldiers, civilian killed
KUPWARA: Two soldiers and a civilian were killed as Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire in Tanghar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district on Sunday, police said.

Three civilians were also injured in the firing by Pakistani troops, they said.

Two houses were damaged in the incident.


The ceasefire violation from Pakistan Army was started to push infiltrators into the Indian side, news wire agency ANI claimed quoting its sources in Indian Army.

Indian Army is retaliating strongly to the unprovoked violation from across the border, ANI further added.
