Operation Sindoor: 'Bharat Mata ki jai', hails Rajnath Singh as India strikes Pakistan, PoK after Pahalgam attack
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced India's successful strikes, dubbed Operation Sindoor, against nine terror-linked targets in Pakistan and PoK. This decisive action was a direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack that tragically killed ...

The strikes, part of Operation Sindoor, were launched in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, mostly tourists.
India successfully carried out the strikes which targeted terror infrastructure and were “focused, measured, and non-escalatory”, with no Pakistani military targets being involved.
Operation Sindoor, named to avenge the deaths of those killed, is believed to have been personally motivated by the killing of Navy Lieutenant Vinay Narwal and the widely circulated image of his wife mourning after the attack.
Lieutenant Narwal, a young officer, was in Kashmir to celebrate his wedding when he was tragically killed in the terror strike, triggering widespread anger and national outrage.
Meanwhile, according to a report by Pakistani media outlet Dawn, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated early Wednesday that India had launched missile strikes targeting Kotli, Bahawalpur, and Muzaffarabad.
