No progress in Sino-India talks

After the talks, India emphasised that disengagement at the remaining friction points on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is essential to de-escalation of forces and restoration of peace and tranquillity with China.

India and China could not make much progress in the Ladakh border talks on Friday with the latter unwilling to pull back troops from some.key patrol points in the same fashion as they did in Pangong Tso. After the talks, India emphasised that disengagement at the remaining friction points on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is essential to de-escalation of forces and restoration of peace and tranquillity with China.
