NIA raids many places across Kashmir in Uttar Pradesh Al-Qaeda case

The raids were conducted three days after NIA sleuths arrested prominent human rights activist Khurram Parvez in a separate case registered on November 6, which included the charges under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out raids at multiple locations across Kashmir on Thursday in connection with the Al-Qaeda case of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh earlier this year.

The agency conducted searches at five locations in Budgam and Shopian districts of Kashmir, said NIA officials.

The raids were conducted three days after NIA sleuths arrested prominent human rights activist Khurram Parvez in a separate case registered on November 6, which included the charges under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
