Mizoram explosive seizure: NIA registered the case into seizure of explosives in Mizoram, on the order of Union Home Ministry

A spokesperson for the agency told ET that the case has been registered at New Delhi. The explosives were recovered last month during an operation based on specific intelligence inputs received by Assam Rifles.

Mizoram’s Department for information and Public relations tweeted, “No explosives were seized on 26th July. Explosives were seized on 21st June at Champhai. Persons have been arrested in that case. That case is not linked to Assam - Mizoram border dispute. Also, we are not aware of transfer of the case"-Mizoram Police.”
