Militant arrested in Manipur

IMPHAL: A team of Imphal West district police commando has arrested an active member of outlawed Kanglei Yawon Kanna Lup (KYKL) organisation from near Sky hospital in Manipur's Imphal West district, a press release issued by PRO police said today.

The Kykl cadre, arrested from RIMS road on Friday, was identified as Yumnam Anand alias Atomba (27) of Pukhao Khabam Lampak Maning of Manipur's Imphal East district, the release said adding some incriminating articles were seized from his possession.

A case has been registered at Imphal police station and investigation is on, the release added.
