Lt General S K Dua to take over as new 15 Corps Commander on Wednesday

SRINAGAR: Lt General S K Dua will take over as the Corps Commander of Srinagar-based 15 Corps from Lt General Subrata Saha tomorrow, army officials said.

Lt Gen Saha has been moved to Army headquarter at New Delhi as Director General of Military Operations (DGMO), they said.

Both the Generals today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and discussed situation along the LoC in the Valley with him.

Vohra discussed with them issues relating to the recent spike in infiltration attempts and the continuing ceasefire violations.

Welcoming Lt Gen Dua, the Governor wished Lt Gen Saha high success in the crucial assignment he was taking over, an army spokesman said.
