'Left Doklam incident behind' as Modi and Xi to meet tomorrow
India's Ambassador to China, Gautam Bambawale's comments come before Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping's bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the SCO Summit on June 9.

"There is no doubt that India-China relations have gone through a transformation after the informal Wuhan summit. We have left the Doklam incident behind and moved forward to better ties," said Ambassador Bambawale said in Qingdao, China, ahead of the 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.
"There will be a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping tomorrow (Saturday) and there are many things that the leaders look forward to discussing. They will most probably take forward what was discussed during informal summit in Wuhan," he further said.
On June 4, the Chinese Foreign Ministry had termed PM Modi's Shangri la Dialogue speech as 'positive'.
