Ladakh: BRO creates history, Zoji-La pass opens to vehicles for the first time ever in January

In what may provide a significant boost to strategic connectivity in the Ladakh region, especially on the backdrop of the standoff with China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), 72 vehicles crossed the Zoji-La mountain pass for the first time ever on January 2.
