The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said a Field General Court Martial awarded the capital punishment and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa had confirmed the death sentence.
"RAW agent Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav was tried by FGCM under section 59 of Pakistan Army act 1952. He confessed before a magistrate and the court that he was tasked by RAW to plan, coordinate and organise sabotage activities," said the ISPR's statement.
