J&K: Terrorist killed as Army foils infiltration bid in Rajouri's Nowshera
Srinagar: The Army on Tuesday said that they have successfully foiled an infiltration bid during which an infiltrator was killed in Nowshera sector along the Line of Control in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu-based White Knight Corps of the Army said that acting on intelligence inputs, the movement of two infiltrators was detected in the general area of Jhangar in Nowshera along the LoC in Rajouri at around 3pm on March 10. The Army informed that they responded with swift and calibrated combat action. "We successfully foiled an information attempt. In the ensuing engagement, a Pakistan sponsored terrorist was eliminated denying any breach of the LoC," read the official statement of the White Knight Corps.

Meanwhile, armed forces launched a search operation along the international border in Samba following a suspected Pakistani drone activity. The movement of the suspected enemy drone was detected over general area of Daboh on Monday night.
