Infiltration bid foiled in J&K's Kupwara, 5 militants killed
Five Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists were killed on Thursday as security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists were killed in a failed infiltration bid four days...

Additional Director General of police Vijay Kumar informed that the militants were associated with LeT and the search operation is in progress. "Five terrorists of LeT were killed and their identity is being ascertained," said Kumar.
The Director General of J&K police Dilbag Singh said that this area is an infamous infiltration route and there are at least 16 launch pads of militants across the LoC. "They want to push as many infiltrators as possible. But with our joint efforts we foil the infiltration bids like we did today," said Singh.
