Islamabad has denied the allegations and sought "actionable evidence" from New Delhi to back its claim that two soldiers were beheaded by the Pakistan army.

NEW DELHI: India on Wednesday upped the ante vis-avis Pakistan by summoning its envoy as well as sending back 50 students from the neighbouring country to protest beheading of two soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir. It also claimed evidence of blood trail to prove that perpetrators were Pak army men.

Briefing the media on the steps taken by India, MEA spokesperson Gopal Baglay said, “As the high commissioner of Pakistan he will convey the sense of outrage over this barbaric act.”

Abdul Basit, however, denied that Pakistan army was responsible for the barbaric act but said he will convey this sentiment to his government. “Those who came from across LoC came from PoK.

Trail of blood is of Pakistani personnel. Blood samples of Indian soldiers that have been collected is part of evidence. And trail of blood at Roza Nala leading to LoC... is an indication that those who came from PoK went back,” claimed MEA spokesperson.
