Jaish-e-Muhammad IED expert and A+ militant killed in Jammu and Kashmir

"Furqan alias Ali Bhai was a category "A+" Pakistani terrorist who was known to be active with JeM since June 2020," a Srinagar-based defense spokesperson said.

The Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday killed two Jaish-e-Muhammad militants, including an IED expert Yasir Parray, in Pulwama district.

The police said Parray and a foreign militant, Furqan, were killed in an encounter in Qasbayar area of Pulwama. Inspector General of police, Kashmir, Vijay Kumar said: "Terrorist commander of JeM, Yasir Parray, an IED expert and foreign terrorist Furqan neutralised."

The army officials said the two militants were killed at 8:15am and two AK 47s, two pistols and other war-like items were recovered from the spot.
