Israel's military is planning at least one or two more weeks of operations in Iran, Israeli media reported on Wednesday after briefings to military reporters.

"The Israeli military is planning for at least one or two more weeks of operations in Iran, during which it aims to hit thousands more Iranian regime targets," the Times of Israel reported.

The US and Israel began a massive attack on Iran on Saturday involving hundreds of strikes, including ones that killed Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior military figures.

Israeli news website Ynet reported in a headline story that "within the (Israeli military), it is expected that there will be at least two additional weeks of bombardments in Iran."
