IS spreading activities in AP: CM, asks Centre to sanction RAF
VIJAYAWADA: International terrorist outfit ISIS is spreading its activities to Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said here today.

"ISIS..slowly it is establishing its activities. If you sanction Rapid Action Force, it will go a long way to control ISIS," Chandrababu told Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at the foundation stone laying for NDRF 10th battalion headquarters near here this afternoon.

"We have allotted 60 acres of land for the RAF in Visakhapatnam," the CM said.

Chandrababu also wanted an additional battalion of Central Reserve Police Force for the state "to face Left Wing Extremism".

Noting that elite anti-naxal force Greyhounds, established when the state was united, has become a model force for the country, Chandrababu wanted the Centre to immediately sanction Rs 850 crore for setting up a state-of-the-art training facility for Greyhounds in AP.

"You have to help us immediately in this regard," he told Singh.
