The building has been 'extensively damaged' after Iran fired dozens of ballistic missiles.
This also comes after the Iranian strikes damaged a main hospital in southern Israel. Furthermore, Israel's Magen David Adom rescue service said Thursday that at least 32 people were injured following Iran's latest missile strikes.
Following the attack by Iran on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Tehran would "pay a heavy price" after a missile hit a hospital in Israel's south.
"This morning, Iran's terrorist dictators fired missiles at Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva and at civilians in the centre of the country. We will make the tyrants in Tehran pay a heavy price," Netanyahu said in a post on X.
The seventh day of conflict came a day after Iran’s supreme leader rejected U.S. calls for surrender and warned that any military involvement by the Americans would cause “irreparable damage to them.”
The exchange of fire began on June 13, when Israel launched “Operation Rising Lion,” a large-scale airstrike on Iranian military and nuclear facilities. In response, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) initiated “Operation True Promise 3,” targeting Israeli fighter jet fuel production and energy infrastructure, Iranian state media agency IRNA reported.
On Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had carried out a “series of strikes” on over 20 military sites in Tehran, including locations tied to Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
